Review : Eatsmart precision elite digital kitchen scale
I bought this when my trusted "precision" (the only word visible; bought I think at local WalMart)scale would not switch from grams to ounces. There are many features of the Eatsmart Scale I like (the TARE feature, of course, and the ease with which the unit of measure (gm to oz can changed from the front/top). However, I cannot entirely trust the measurement: It weighs the 50gm 'test' weight (from Amazon) at 49 gms; the older, former scale weighs properly at 50gm. The Eatsmart seems to take some time to weigh properly; e.g.it will weigh the object (flour, for example),indicating the final weight then later call for (e.g.) one more gram to bring it to final weight-seems to change before reaching the 'final' weight. Perhaps this is a normal event, and simply calls for waiting. I do like the scale (see above)and use it (tentatively because of my fear of inaccurate weight) in my bread-baking. Also have the bathroom scale version of Eatsmart.
